IndiGo flight with MP Dimple Yadav aborts take-off at Lucknow airport after technical snag

The aircraft, operating as flight 6E2111 from Lucknow to Delhi, was on the runway when the crew noticed the problem and decided to halt take-off.

A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight carrying more than 150 passengers, including Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, aborted take-off at Lucknow airport on Saturday after a technical issue was detected, PTI reported quoting a source.

The aircraft, operating as flight 6E2111 from Lucknow to Delhi, was on the runway when the crew noticed the problem and decided to halt take-off. The plane was then taxied back to the bay, the source added.

IndiGo has not issued a statement on the incident.
