Top BJP leaders to meet soon to finalise UP poll strategy

BJP’s national president Rajnath Singh,in-charge of UP affairs Arun Jaitley and the election in-charge Kalraj Mishra,besides others,are expected to participate in the meeting.

“Once campaigning starts senior leaders would find it difficult to spare time for Uttar Pradesh,so it is better to sit together and finalise everything in a timely manner,” Tripathi said.

Asked about the date of such meeting,he said “It has not been finalised yet but it will be soon after the last list of candidates is announced.” Tripathi said the last list of probable BJP candidates for the remaining seats was ready and it would be discussed at the Central Election Committee meeting scheduled to be held in Delhi tomorrow.
