Moga MLA Joginder Pal Jain has set out his priority list for Moga and development works to be carried out on priority basis. The problem of sewage system in villages and stray cattle top Jains list, who has also forwarded a proposal for the Chief Ministers nod regarding a new canal for 18 villages of Moga facing acute shortage of irrigation water.
My top priority is to ensure that sewage water in villages is disposed off properly, said Jain talking to The Indian Express, adding that a rule to punish people who leave their stray cattle in Moga is also on the cards.
We implemented this punishment for leaving stray cattle a few years back, but this time it will be taken seriously, he added.
The prime reason he gave for his defection from Congress to SAD was the inability to initiate and complete development projects for Moga. With the mandate of the people,I have set out this list of works to re-affirm their trust.
