PM Modi has brought new energy to India, says Obama at Indo-US CEO summit

President Barack Obama on Monday took in a grand display of Indian military hardware, marching bands and elaborately dressed camels, becoming the first American leader to be honoured as chief guest at India’s annual Republic Day festivities.

Obama was at the Republic Day parade with First Lady Michelle Obama along with other dignitaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Pranab were also present at the flag hoisting ceremony. Security has been heightened in the country capital in preparation for Obama’s visit and the Republic day in mind.
