Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will be visiting India later this year, a Japanese government official said as the visiting Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi Friday. Kishida, who is visiting India on his first overseas visit after the Abe government was re-elected last month, will be meeting External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj Saturday. Modi and Kishida talked about UN Security Council reforms and enhancing connectivity with Northeastern states, the official said.
