Solanki asked, “What is the need to provide armed security to RSS if t is a social organisation?”
Stating that Congress party believed in promoting talent no matter where and in which caste and community it was available, Solanki said that it was the Congress party that had appointed Ambedkar as chairman of the drafting committee of the Constitution.
“Ambedkar made valuable contributions for welfare and uplift of the socially and economically downtrodden communities”, pointed out the Congress leader.
He said that Ambedkar also coined slogans like “be educated, be united” and “fight for justice”.
