Narayanswamy called upon the party legislators and independents to “work unitedly” to regain both Lok Sabha seats from the BJP and to bring the Congress back to power in the next Assembly elections due in October next.

The BJP has already renominated its two sitting Lok Sabha members Kiren Rijiju for Arunachal West and Tapir Gao Arunachal East.

On the reports of “squabbles” within state Congress,Narayanswamy said,“it happens in a big party. We are all family members and we will sort it out.” Narayanswamy’s comments came in the wake of recent complaint of former Chief Minister Gegong Apang that he was feeling “isolated” for not being consulted by the Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu on important issues.
