BJP slams German anti-Modi remark

A delegation of BJP leaders today met Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany Walter Stechel here protesting “anti-Narendra Modi” remarks by a team of German parliamentarians.

The delegation,comprising former Union Minister Ram Naik and Mumbai BJP president Gopal Shetty met the German diplomat at the Consul office in Hoechst building in Nariman point,South Mumbai.

“The Consul General told us that the Parliamentary delegation was not an official one. He would apprise the German government of our sentiments,” Naik said.

The German delegation had reportedly made the remarks against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi when it was on a visit to Gujarat.”
