Big B’s pix appears in EPIC of woman voter in Sikkim

In a goof-up,the photograph of superstar Amitabh Bachchan has come up alongside the name of a woman voter in her electronic photo identity card (EPIC) in East Sikkim.

Acknowledging the mistake,election office sources said a passport size photo of the ageing bearded superstar has come up on the EPIC (no CDC0078557) of Danka Bhutia,a resident of Cheni Senti locality under Pakyong Sub-division and a voter of under Namcheybung assembly constituency.

Interestingly,the woman and Bachchan shared the same age of 67 years.

Joint Chief Electoral Officer (JICO) said the mistake will be rectified by the state election department. He,however,was not sure how of all persons the photo of Bachchan could have come up in the EPIC.

The woman voter will be given another photo identity card with her own photograph and be able her to cast her vote,he assured.

Star-struck Danka,however,is a little amused and wonders how Bachchan would have reacted if he knew about the incident.
