Arasa’s son,Sharan, who was driving the car on November 26,was heading towards Oberoi Hotel with his two friends to check on a friend who had been evacuated after reports of firing.

For the father-son duo the thought of driving the car brings back the memory of near death experience.

“Now I will not sell the car,but took possession as it will just rot in police custody,” Arasa added.

According to the police, the Skoda and the vehicle in which police officers Hemant Karkare,Ashok Kamte and Vijay Salaskar were travelling when they were killed by Kasab and Khan, are part of property seized as evidence in the terror case.
