Workers’Education Day meet held

The Central Board For Workers Education and the Ministry of Labour and Employment celebrated Workers’ Education Day at PMC zonal office at Kasba Peth on Friday.

The Central Board For Workers Education (CBWE) and the Ministry of Labour and Employment celebrated Workers’ Education Day at PMC zonal office at Kasba Peth on Friday.

Dr (Capt) C M Chitale,chairman,Regional Advisory Committee,CBWE,Pune was the chairman of the function. He said team building,time management and discipline were must for better productivity of the organisation. While inaugurating the Workers Education Day celebration,chief guest Rajendra Nageshkar,associate vice-president,Thyseen Krupps Ind,Pune,said human resource needed to be trained in a better manner to achieve the desired goal of the nation. He also said there should be more focus on rural sector.

Welcoming the guests,CBWE,Pune,regional director Avinash Upadhyay said the role and relevance of workers education is very much needed in the present scenario. He appealed that company should come forward to get more and more benefit from workers education scheme. On this occasion,special seminar was also organised on Globalisation and its impact on Indian industries.

Indian Express Group Ltd,Pune,chief manager- HR Nitin Jumde was the special invitee. He applauded the Workers Education Scheme. “The scheme is in the interest of the rural sector and will help unorganised sector to enhance the quality of life of the working class.”

The programme was attended by PMC adviser labour Shivaji Daundakar.

Various management representatives,trade union leaders,NGOs and government officials attended the function. Education officer C M Jagtap was the in-charge of the praogramme.
