7-year-old raped by neighbour in Agra

A case has been registered against Balbir under relevant sections of IPC,SSI,Tajganj police station,Chandrashekhar said.

A 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Budhera area of Tajganj in Agra,police said on Saturday.

According to the police,the accused Balvir Singh lured the child when she was playing outside her house last evening and raped her at his residence.

The girl returned home in an injured state and narrated the incident to her family who reported the matter to police.

The culprit had allegedly threatened the family with dire consequences if they reported the incident to police.

A case has been registered against Balbir under relevant sections of IPC,SSI,Tajganj police station,Chandrashekhar said.
