The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to trade unionist Vernon Gonsalves and political cartoonist Arun Ferreira, accused in the 2018 Bhima Koregaon case. The activists were arrested in October 2018 and have been charged under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
