Army chopper with Lt General Ranbir Singh on board was force landed in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An Army helicopter carrying seven persons including Northern Army Commander Lt General Ranbir Singh force-landed in Mandi area of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir at 2 pm Thursday. Sources in the Army have said a technical glitch was the cause and that all on-board are safe.
Police sources told The Indian Express that a civilian was injured. The helicopter flew from Mandi and when taking height to have an aerial survey of the area along the LoC, it got entangled with a wire from a tower atop a hill, sources said.
