Priyanka Chopra reveals how she spent her ‘big’ salary cheque: ‘A new car, a solitaire for myself…’

She also revealed who she would take with her on a secret mission. She settled on two people — her mother Madhu Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas. Priyanka shared, “I want to go with my husband because he is very strong but I would also go with my mom, she can, in any city, find you the funnest places to go. She will find the smallest hole in the wall, the pub that you want to go to. So, both of them can be very resourceful.”

The actor also revealed that she has kept a memento for herself from the set of Citadel. The actor revealed, “From this job, I took a pair of red Louboutin shoes, the ones that I’m wearing in the first episode and they have pride of place because I did stunts in them. In my closet, they’re actually lit up.”

For the LA premiere of Citadel, Priyanka got decked up in a fuchsia satin gown which had a cape attached to it. Richard Madden accompanied her and looked dapper in a black suit.

Priyanka also shared what charmed her towards Citadel beyond its cast and creators Russo Brothers. She told Esquire in a latest interview, “The charm of Citadel to me was just the ambition of the show. There’s nothing like this on television. It’s mounted on an incredibly large scale. At the same time, it cross-pollinates countries across the world with local instalments and there’s nothing like this. It is a franchise that has been originally created. So, I didn’t even know the story and I was like yes I will do it.”

Citadel will get an Indian version from Raj and DK. It will star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role.
