Actor Sanvikaa, known for playing the role of Rinki in the popular Amazon Prime Video web series Panchayat, shared a post on Instagram on Friday, offering a glimpse into the off-screen reality of the entertainment world. In her post, the actor opened up about not getting respect.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Sanvikaa wrote, “Sometimes I wish I was an insider or maybe from a very powerful background, things would have been so much easier (maybe, I don’t know) As basic as getting respect and being treated as an equal. The battles would have been lesser. Hanging on.” Her note has been going viral on social media.

After starring in Panchayat Season 2 and 3 and receiving love for her character, Sanvikaa, born as Pooja Singh in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, is all set to return for the upcoming fourth season of the Amazon Prime Video show. She plays the role of Pradhan ji’s daughter Rinki in the web series. Her romantic relationship with Jitendra Kumar’s Sachivji has been a fan-favourite element.

The comedy-drama also features Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha.

While talking to NDTV about Panchayat, Neena said, “Before Panchayat, in small towns and villages, people only recognised me for ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’. After Panchayat, the whole of India knows me because of the show. For them, it’s just ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ and Panchayat as if I’ve done nothing else in my life.”
