Elvish Yadav reveals makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2 haven’t given him Rs 25 lakh cash prize yet; shocked Shehnaaz Gill says ‘Ye galat hai’

Vlogger and internet sensation Elvish Yadav won the second season of Bigg Boss OTT 2. But when he entered the show as a wild card contestant, he had doubts about winning the show since he believed that it was the rule of the show that a wild card entrant could not win the show.

Recently, while interacting with Shehnaaz Gill on her show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, Elvish revealed that he confirmed with the makers the rule about the wild card entrants at least 100 times. He said, “Earlier, I believed that it is their rule only that they won’t make a wild card entrant the winner. When I got the entry, I asked them at least 100 times, ‘Bhai, vote ka hi hai na (The winner will be decided through votes only, right)? I hope it is not a rule that despite wild card getting votes, he cannot win.’ They said, ‘Wild card ko jitayenge agar votes mile toh (We will make the wild card contestant the winner if he gets votes).”

With record-breaking audiences hooked on to the finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 and voting live for him, the YouTuber emerged victorious, beating Abhishek Malhan, who was declared as the runner-up. He was awarded a trophy and a Rs 25 lakh cash prize, which he hasn’t received yet.

Shehnaaz asked Elvish when he was buying his third phone, since he was carrying two phones. On this, Elvish told her he already had three phones. So, Shenaaz asked, ‘When are you buying the fourth one?’ Elvish replied, “Chautha bhi lenge (will buy the fourth one too), jab bigg boss vaale Rs 25 lakh bhej denge (When the makers of Bigg Boss will send me Rs 25 lakh)”. Shocked with the YouTuber not being paid his winning amount yet, Shehnaaz reacted, “Ye toh galat hai (This is wrong).”

Though Elvish hasn’t received his cash prize, he recently bought a palatial home in Dubai. He had given a tour of his duplex apartment on his vlog and had also revealed that the house cost him Rs 8 crore.
