Delhi Crime Season 3 teaser: It’s Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal vs menacing trafficker Huma Qureshi in a hunt for missing girls

Shefali Shah and Rasika Dugal are set to return with a brand-new season of the International Emmy Award-winning web series Delhi Crime. However, this time, the makers have introduced an exciting new addition to the cast—Huma Qureshi, who will be seen in the antagonist role. The latest season delves into a harrowing case surrounding missing girls—those whom “nobody misses.”

The makers announced the arrival of the new season with a gripping teaser. This time, the story revolves around the search for an injured baby’s missing mother, which unravels a massive human trafficking operation in India. As DIG Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) takes on one of the most challenging cases of her career, she is pitted against the ruthless trafficker Meena, played by Qureshi. The teaser opens with Vartika and her team rescuing trafficked girls from a truck, setting the stage for a high-stakes investigation. Alongside her trusted officers—IPS Neeti Singh (Rasika Dugal), Inspector Bhupendra Singh (Rajesh Tailang), and the rest—Vartika follows a trail of chilling clues that lead them to uncover a vast trafficking network stretching far beyond India’s borders.

Huma Qureshi makes a striking impression in her role as Meena, with the teaser showing her forcing a girl into marriage, exuding a menacing and formidable presence. Delhi Crime made history when its first season won the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2020, becoming the first Indian series to receive the prestigious honour. Directed by Tanuj Chopra, Delhi Crime Season 3 also features Sayani Gupta, Mita Vashisht, and Jaya Bhattacharya in key roles.
