Aryan Khan just made his debut as a director with his Netflix web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and while the audience is yet to hear from him about the making of the series, the cast members on the show have been singing his praises. Recently, actor Anya Singh, who played Sanya on the show, shared that Aryan would always be smiling on the set, unlike his image in front of the cameras, and created an environment where no one felt any hesitation to approach him.
In a chat with YouTube channel Mamaraazzi, Anya shared that Aryan would maintain the same level of energy and enthusiasm through the day and would never lose focus. “He was never frazzled, always patient, very calm, and smiling a lot,” she said.
Describing him as a “shy person”, Anya Singh shared that Aryan Khan opens up once you get to know him. “He is a shy person, this is what I have understood of him, which is why he is not as open outside but when you get to know him, he is a very warm person and someone who you can talk to about anything. He is not someone who gets offended, he doesn’t get upset. If you can make a show like this where you can take jokes on yourself, you really can talk to him about everything without hesitation,” she said.
Anya added that Aryan does not carry the baggage of being Shah Rukh Khan’s son and holds his own, which makes his personality quite admirable. “You know hesitation like he is my director, he is Aryan Khan or he is Shah Rukh Khan’s son, there is none of that. He holds his own and I really admire that,” she said.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood also stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi, Mona Singh and Sahher Bambba, among others.
