Armaan Malik says ‘I am a Hindu’ amid speculations about his religion, polygamous relationship with wives Payal, Kritika Malik

Armaan Malik and his wives Payal and Kritika became a topic of discussion after their entry in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Many including celebrities slammed the trio for promoting polygamy.

Armaan Malik is not a Muslim but Hindu by religion. The content creator recently revealed this during a press conference episode on the reality web show Bigg Boss OTT 3. Armaan Malik was asked how would he describe his relationship with his two wives. Armaan, who was quick to reply to the reporter’s question, clarified that people assume he is a Muslim because of his name, but there is no truth to it.

“I am Hindu, and you might be assuming otherwise because of my name”, said Armaan. He also confessed that his birth name is Sandeep Malik and he adopted Armaan Malik as his stage name 14 years ago.

During the same interaction, Armaan and Kritika were bombarded with tough questions such as, “What should we call your relationship?” and “How could you betray your best friend?” There was quite a heated moment when an angry Armaan Malik rudely replied to one of the journalists, “I have kept both of them,” and a journalist corrected him “They are your wives”.

Armaan Malik got evicted two days before the grand finale. Currently, the top five contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 3 are Ranvir Shorey, Sana Makbul, Sai Ketan Rao, Naezy, and Kritika Malik. The Grand Final of Bigg Boss OTT 3 is scheduled for today (August 2).

Payal Malik, Armaan’s first wife was the first among the trio to be evicted from the show. She made several appearances on the show after her elimination and made shocking revelations leading to many fights within the Bigg Boss house.

Armaan married Payal in 2011, and they welcomed a son name Chirayu Malik. Seven years later, in 2018, Armaan married Payal’s best friend, Kritika. In 2022, Armaan announced the pregnancies of both Kritika and Payal. Armaan is now a father to four children: Chirayu, Tuba, Ayan, and Zaid.
