Alanna Panday’s dad schools her for wearing a bold outfit: ‘Did you forget to wear a top?’ Watch

Ananya Panday's cousin Alanna was in for some serious feedback from her father over her bold clothes in the latest episode of the web show The Tribe.

Social Media influencer Alanna Panday is all set to make her OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video show The Tribe. Alanna who is Ananya Panday’s cousin and Chunky Pandey’s niece will be seen on the show along with some other social media influencers. Recently, Alanna gave her fans a little sneak peek into the show, where her family was sitting together when her father Chikki Panday objected to her clothes and asked her if she forgot to wear a top. He later also reminded her that she is not in Los Angeles anymore.

In the video, Chikki is seen asking, “Alanna by any chance did you forget to wear a top?” Reacting to it, Alanna says, “Are you serious? What is wrong with this outfit?” To which her dad says, “You need a shirt with it, don’t you think?” Later, Alanna defends the outfit saying that the bralette acts like a shirt, reacting to this her dad says, “This is not LA, it’s Bandra. Even if it’s a bralette, it says bra and bras need to be covered.” Alanna’s mother Deanne Pandey also tries to defend her daughter in the video.

Reacting to this clip from the show, many fans supported Alanna Panday’s father. Some of them even lauded his sassy stance. One user wrote, “Dad woke up and chose destruction.” Another fan commented, “This generation forgets the manners of dressing, every place has an appropriate dressing code.” A third one wrote, “Her father is absolutely right, one should know how to sit in the least family. What does it want to show?” One of the users also pointed out how Alanna’s mother-in-law (in the white outfit) looked uncomfortable throughout the conversation.

Another fan said, “He shouldn’t have pointed her out in front of everyone including the in-laws. BUT I get it where he comes from!” Another person supported Alanna and said, “Her clothes, her body, her choice”.
