Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa teaser set to be unveiled at Cannes Film Festival

Touted to be one of the biggest projects ever made in the country, Kannappa stars Vishnu Manchu, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, and Shiva Rajkumar.

In a move that promises grandeur and anticipation, Vishnu Manchu’s highly awaited project Kannappa is gearing up to make a splash at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival. The teaser for the big-budget entertainer is slated for a majestic unveiling on May 20 at the French Riviera, marking a significant moment for Indian cinema on the global stage.

Kannappa, a fantasy drama, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, comes across as a spectacle enriched with a stellar cast, including Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, and Shiva Rajkumar.

The movie was initially set to feature Nupur Sanon, sister of Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon, as the female lead. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, she had to step down from the project.

Kannappa is penned by the talented trio of Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad.

Vishnu Manchu took to social media to share his excitement about unveiling the teaser of Kannappa at Cannes 2024. Sharing a new poster of the movie, he wrote, “Can’t wait to show you all a glimpse into ‘The World Of Kannappa’ on the 20th-May. Launching it in Cannes Film Festival 💪🏽#kannappa #cannesfilmfestival.”

Produced by Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa not only boasts a stellar cast but also brings onboard renowned musical talents–Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi are at the helm of the music department.

The release date of Kannappa has not been announced yet.
