Singer Kalpana Raghavender refutes claims of alleged suicide attempt: ‘I just took tablets because I was unable to sleep’

The report filed by the KPHB police also suggested that Kalpana Raghavendar had an argument with her family, especially her daughter over her education choices. It is said that Kalpana wanted her daughter to move to Hyderabad for further studies, which wasn’t accepted by her.

Although Kalpana’s statement follows the doctors’ diagnosis of the incident being a drug overdose, her assertion is that it was not an attempt to end her life. This statement was echoed by her daughter, who met the media outside the hospital.

The daughter told reporters, “Please do not manipulate any information without proper validation. There are no problems in my family, and they are happy as a couple, and I am happy too. My mother is perfectly fine, and she will be back home in a few days.”
