After receiving significant admiration as an actor, Telugu star Rana Daggubati is now aiming to scale new heights in the cinematic realm by showcasing his talent in its various dimensions. In pursuit of this goal, Rana recently unveiled the concept teaser of his upcoming ambitious project titled Hiranyakashyap, inspired by one of Amar Chitra Katha comics.

Backed by Spirit Media, the entertainment and media company Rana founded, Hiranyakashyap will be written by Trivikram Srinivas, and feature the Baahubali actor in the titular role.

“The demon king has arrived. 📽 Watch him come to life in our next project 🌟,” Rana noted while sharing the enthralling concept teaser of the film on social media.

During the San Diego Comic Con a few days ago, Rana made the announcement about the movie. He was present at the event to unveil the official title of Prabhas’ upcoming film, which was previously known as Project K. The film, now officially named Kalki 2898 AD, is directed by Nag Ashwin and features Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.

“We want to captivate audiences worldwide by bringing them stories that transcend boundaries and ignite the imagination,” Rana elaborated on Spirit Media’s future endeavours, as reported by The Hindu.

Additionally, as per the report, Spirit Media has made an announcement about its partnership with Weekend Blockbusters, the producers of the 2021 Malayalam superhero film Minnal Murali. This collaboration aims to launch the comic character of Minnal Murali, who will find a home in the Indian comic magazine, Tinkle.

“We’re excited to join forces with Rana’s Spirit Media, as they share our love for the superheroes genre. Minnal Murali was a work of deep love and passion and we’re thrilled to present him in a new comic avatar to the fans,” Weekend Blockbusters’ founder Sophia Paul told India Today.

Streaming service SonyLIV had, on Wednesday, announced Lords of the Deccan, a historical action-drama series, developed in collaboration with Spirit Media. The show is adapted from the bestselling book Lords of The Deccan: Southern India from Chalukyas to Cholas, written by Anrirudh Kanisetti.
