Pushpa 2 worldwide box office collection Day 31: Allu Arjun creates Rs 1200 crore club in India; Dangal is the only peak to conquer
Pushpa 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 31: The total domestic numbers are at a whopping Rs 1199 crore, and it is safe to assume that a new domestic club of Rs 1200 crore would be formed by the end of the fifth weekend.

Pushpa 2 worldwide box office collection Day 31: Well into its fifth week of run, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to mint moolah despite tough competition from films of other languages. But the Allu Arjun juggernaut is surely showing signs of slowing down considering the 5th Friday saw the collections dropping below the Rs 5 crore mark for the first time. Although, the movie found back its way by making Rs 5.5 crore on Saturday, it is safe to assume that the dip is a sign of things to come, especially ahead of the Sankranti and Pongal releases in Telugu and Tamil cinema, respectively.
The New Year began on a strong note for the Sukumar directorial as Pushpa 2 became the fastest entrant into the Rs 1800 crore club, which only has one other film, Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Just like how Allu Arjun’s titular character in the film takes over the syndicate, Pushpa 2 has taken over the domestic market, perching itself on top of the list by dethroning Baahubal 2: The Conclusion, which held the record for seven years. Now, Pushpa 2 is the movie to beat for Indian films wanting to breach various clubs in Indian cinema.
While there is the onslaught of festive releases scheduled to happen in a week, and the rise of Unni Mukundan’s Marco, which seems to be a favourite for Hindi cinema audience, all is not lost for Pushpa 2. Although it is interesting that Marco, in the third week of its release, has found an audience in Hindi, especially with the collections for the Hindi version doubling the Malayalam version’s numbers, there are no big Hindi films awaiting release soon. So, it once again comes to the dubbed versions of movies like Ram Charan’s Game Changer that might be the option for Hindi audience, and if things don’t go the way for the new films, familiarity of Pushpa might be alluring, for sure.
According to rough estimates, the total domestic numbers for Pushpa 2 are at a whopping Rs 1199 crore, and it is safe to assume that a new domestic club of Rs 1200 crore would be formed by the end of the fifth weekend.
This is undoubtedly a colossal run for Pushpa 2, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. However, there are heavy chances that the Telugu numbers would drop well below the Rs 1 crore mark once the Sankranti releases set in, but the Hindi version might still hold fort.
