While people were expecting Prabhas to do another mammoth project with a scope that’s as big as Salaar, the Telugu star took everyone by surprise as he announced a romantic horror-comedy with director Maruthi. Further, the poster of the film was revealed on Sankranthi, which had Prabhas in a casual look in a shirt and lungi. Since the recent update, fans have been wondering what the film is about, and the IMDb page of the movie has led to more frenzy as it features the plot line of the film.

The synopsis on the website reads, “It revolves around a couple who fall in love but are set to change destiny due to a negative energy.” This has led to a lot of speculation among fans, but the film’s director has put an end to all such talks.

On X, the director wrote, “Ararare, I don’t know this plot. So shooting with a different script. Ippudu IMDB Samajam accept chestada mari (Will IMDb accept me now?)”

It is now clear that the plot that’s on IMDb is not what Prabhas and Maruthi are currently working on, and like all the big-budget projects these days, it is unlikely fans would get to know what the film is about till the trailer is released. And, that’s going to take a while.

Meanwhile, Prabhas will be focusing on his next big-budget project Kalki 2898 AD, which is directed by Nag Ashwin. The dystopian sci-fi thriller, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, will be released this year.
