Peddi stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor make an appearance at AR Rahman’s concert: ‘It was a childhood dream…’

Actor Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Peddi. Recently, he surprised fans by making an appearance at AR Rahman’s concert in Hyderabad, where he was joined by his Peddi co-star Janhvi Kapoor.

With Rahman composing the music for Peddi, Ram Charan took a moment at the concert to express his admiration for the Oscar-winning composer. He said, “Chikiri Chikiri (song from Peddi) is doing record numbers in all languages. It was a childhood dream for me to be a part of his music. I think I can’t get more luckier than this.” Janhvi, meanwhile, won hearts by speaking in Telugu. She said, “I think I am lucky to have gotten the opportunity to act in this film. I hope that you are all enjoying our first single from the film. We are all working very hard to provide you with a unique and different experience.”

Fans were quite thrilled to see Janhvi Kapoor speak in Telugu. A fan commented, “Thank you, Janhvi, for speaking Telugu. When you speak in Telugu, we remember your mother, Sri Devi gaaru.” Other fans wished the actors good luck with the song and the film.

Peddi also stars Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyenndu in important roles. The film, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is slated to release on March 27, 2026.
