On the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s 54th birthday, the makers of his upcoming gangster drama OG unveiled a new poster featuring the actor-politician to mark the special day.
The poster showcases a dapper-looking Pawan Kalyan casually seated on the boot of a Dodge car. The styling of the actor, the vintage car, and the Mumbai setting hints at a hyper-stylized action flashback sequence in the film. Directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame, the movie features Pawan as the feared gangster Ojas Gambheera aka OG. The star-studded cast also includes Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Sriya Reddy, Abhimanyu Singh, and Vennela Kishore.
The production house behind OG, KVV Pictures, released the poster on their X handle with the caption, “Every era gets a star. But only once in history has a phenomenon like Pawan Kalyan emerged. Wishing our #OG the happiest of birthdays.”
On the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh also shared a poster on X. The caption read, “Happy Birthday to the USTAAD of style, swag and box office – POWER STAR @PawanKalyan #UstaadBhagatSingh will be a feast for fans and a delight for the audience.”
Meanwhile, social media is flooded with wishes for the Telugu star from colleagues and fans.
Ram Charan took to his X account and wrote, Happy Birthday @PawanKalyan Garu. I feel truly fortunate to have grown up witnessing your simplicity, strength and selfless nature. Your journey continues to inspire not just me, but millions. Wishing you good health, endless happiness and many more years of greatness.” Pawan Kalyan’s co-actor from OG, Priyanka Mohan also joined in wishing the Telugu star on his birthday. She wrote, “The star, the leader, the inspiration. Happiest Birthday to our #OG Pawan Kalyan sir! It’s an honor & joy to share a small part in your cinematic journey, sir.” Allu Arjun, Nivin Pauly, Naga Vamshi, Devi Sri Prasad, among others, also wished the OG star on his special day.
OG is set for a wide release on September 25. The release date of Ustaad Bhagat Singh is yet to be announced.
