Thandel star Naga Chaitanya reacts to a fan’s critique of his acting: ‘When will you learn acting?’
Sai Pallavi recently took to her X handle to share a nearly six minute long video, where she interviewed her co-star Naga Chaitanya. She selected a few fan-submitted questions and posed them to Chaitanya.

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated film Thandel released in theatres today. A day before the film’s release, Pallavi took to her X handle to share a nearly six minute long video, where she interviewed her co-star Chaitanya. She selected a few fan-submitted questions and posed them to Chaitanya. Among the many questions was “When will you learn acting?”
Upon hearing this question, Chay turned towards the camera and said, “What do you mean by when will I learn acting?” He quickly changed his expression and then calmly answered, “Honestly, it’s a continuous process; it’s something you keep learning over time. I don’t think you can ever hit a full stop with it. If you do and stop growing as an actor, then there’s no future…there’s no progress. I still haven’t learnt; I’m continuing to learn every single day.”
Sharing the video, Sai Pallavi wrote in her caption, “Looks like the interview went well!”

In a recent interview with Gallatta Plus, Naga Chaitanya had spoken about dealing with trolls. He said, “In my initial days, yes, it affected me. The question is, why? I mean, everyone’s leading their life, going about with their paths; why is everyone intruding so much? After a point, I started ignoring it. I didn’t feel I needed to respond to anything because what I’ve observed is that the clarification loops into something else. It’s a vicious cycle. Initially I tried to put a full stop, but I realised there’s no full stop. It’s entertaining to people.”
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel also stars Prakash Belawadi, Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, and Karunakaran. The film has so far earned Rs 1.26 crore at the box office. It is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 90 crore.
Thandel marks the reunion of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi after their 2021 film Love Story.
