Jr NTR-Saif Ali Khan’s Devara accused of plagiarism by Telugu producer: ‘They have lifted it’
Jr NTR had recently shared the title of his 30th film with his fans. 'Devara,' the actor wrote alongside a new poster of the movie. However, actor-producer Bandla Ganesh claimed that he had first registered the title.

Launching a scathing attack on the crew of Telugu superstar NT Rama Rao Jr’s upcoming film Devara, Bandla Ganesh, renowned film producer and the owner of Parameswara Art Productions, claimed that he had previously registered the title for himself, but the makers of NTR Jr film lifted it after he forgot to ‘renew’ his registration of the title.
“Devara is a title first registered by me, and I forgot to renew it; they have lifted it,” Ganesh tweeted recently.
The makers of Devara have, however, not responded to Ganesh’s claim.

Soon after making the allegation, Ganesh, however, posted another tweet saying, “I don’t have any problem brother, this is our Young Tiger’s movie, he is also my god ❤️.” The filmmaker also shared a poster of the NTR Jr movie with a note that read, “Super Ga undi 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

Ganesh previously worked with Jr NTR in films like Baadshah and Temper, both of which were major box-office successes.
It was on May 19, ahead of his 40th birthday, that NTR Jr shared the title of his 30th film. “#Devara,” the actor wrote alongside a new poster of the movie. The film also features Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
“I am truly grateful to you all for your overwhelming response to #Devara! Made my day,” Jr NTR mentioned in a note that he shared on social media on Saturday.
Devara is helmed by Koratala Siva, known for his previous directorial ventures such as Mirchi (2013), Srimanthudu (2015), Janatha Garage (2016), and Bharat Ane Nenu (2018). Billed as a high-octane action drama set in the forgotten coastal lands of India, Devara marks Jr NTR’s second collaboration with Siva after the blockbuster Janatha Garage.
Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Devara is scheduled to be released on April 5, 2024.
Jr NTR will begin filming for his forthcoming film with KGF director Prashanth Neel in March next year, the makers announced on Saturday. The pan-India film, which marks the RRR star’s 31st feature project, is backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
