Ram Charan and Kiara Advani-starrer Game Changer has experienced another dip in its box office collection. Despite witnessing a slight increase on Makar Sankranti, the film has been on a steady decline since its release on Friday, January 10. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the collections dropped by nearly 34 percent on Wednesday, settling at Rs 6.61 crore. With this, the film’s total domestic earnings now stand at Rs 112.8 crore.

Breaking down the language-wise collections, Game Changer minted Rs 4.51 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.37 crore in Hindi, and Rs 0.73 crore in Tamil on Wednesday. The film began its box office journey on a strong note, raking in Rs 51 crore on its opening day. However, it witnessed a dramatic 57.65 percent drop on Saturday, earning Rs 21.6 crore. Since then, it has consistently seen declines of 26 and 51 percent on subsequent days. A brief respite came on Makar Sankranti, with a 30 percent increase, but collections fell again by 33 percent on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the makers of Game Changer have come under fire from fans, who accuse them of inflating the film’s opening box office numbers. On the film’s official Twitter account, they claimed it grossed Rs 186 crore globally on its opening day, the declaration met with skepticism due to the reported drop in collections the very next day.

In the Hindi-speaking belt, Game Changer faces stiff competition from Sonu Sood’s Fateh. Adding to the pressure is Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is still running successfully in its sixth week, minting Rs 1 crore on Wednesday. Another major contender is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj, which earned Rs 9 crore on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 59.40 crore.

Game Changer also features an ensemble cast, including SJ Suryah, Nassar, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles. However, despite its star-studded lineup, the film is struggling to maintain momentum at the box office amid tough competition.
