Fans call Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara ‘Barbie’ after watching her new ad, mom Namrata says ‘princess found her crown’

Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara faced the camera for a much publicised advertisement for a jewellery brand and on the eve of Sitara’s 11th birthday, the ad was released online. The promo, which is presented like a short film, was shared by Namrata on Instagram.

Her caption read, “When the princess found her crown 👑 Thrilled to share @pmj_jewels’ “Princess” ❤️”. The ad has Sitara showing off her acting chops as she plays a girl getting ready for her half saree ceremony. For the unversed, the ceremony is held to welcome a young girl into womanhood. The short film has Sitara being taken to a jewellery store by her on-screen grandmother where she falls in love with the precious gems and is enamoured by the bling of diamonds.

Sitara’s aunt Shilpa Shirodkar called her “the prettiest princess ever” in the comments section. One of the fans wrote in the comments section, “How gorgeous, a literal barbie! 💕😍”

Recently, the visuals of Sitara’s ad were displayed at a billboard in Times Square. Sharing those images, Mahesh wrote on Twitter, “Lighting up the Times Square!! 💥💥💥 So so proud of you my fire cracker ♥️♥️♥️ Continue to dazzle and shine!! 😘😘😘 #SitaraGhattamaneni”.

Earlier today, the actor wished his daughter on her birthday and wrote, “Happy 11th, my star!! 🌟 Achieve everything you set your mind to ❤️❤️❤️ #SitaraGhattamaneni”.

Sitara also shared the visuals of Times Square and wrote in the caption, “TIMES SQUAREEE!! oh my god 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 screamed, cried, and shouted, I couldn’t be any happier 💕🥹🥹🥹”.

On the film front, Mahesh Babu is currently working with Trivikram Srinivas for their upcoming film Guntu Kaaram. He is set to star in SS Rajamouli’s next after this film.
