Devara box office collection: Having amassed an impressive Rs 268.6 crore after 16 days of its run, the makers announced that Devara has entered the Rs 500 crore mark globally.

Jr NTR’s much-awaited solo release Devara Part 1 has been the talk of the town since its release on September 27. Having amassed an impressive Rs 268.6 crore after 16 days of its run, the makers announced that Devara has entered the Rs 500 crore mark globally. Backed by Yuvarathnaa Arts and NTR Arts, the Koratala Siva directorial has lodged itself in the third position of the highest grossing Indian films of 2024 list. Top of the list is another Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD, and the second place is held by the Hindi film Stree 2.

Sharing the announcement on their social media handles, the makers wrote, “A Sea of Blood and a Shoreline of Destruction. Man of Masses Jr NTR’s massacre made Devara cross 500 Crores+ GBOC and sending a Notice of being a truly Unstoppable hunt.” With the film managing to earn Rs 5 crore on the third Saturday, and a 54.6 per cent occupancy on the 16th day, the makers’ claim that Devara is ‘a truly unstoppable hunt’ doesn’t seem too far-fetched.

Devara, which marked the Telugu debuts of Hindi actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, also stars Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Meka Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko. With music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ratnavelu, Devara is a duology, and the second part is expected to go on floors after Jr NTR completes his commitments to War 2 and Prashanth Neel’s next.
