Naveen Polishetty, the Telugu star who was recently cast opposite Anushka Shetty in the film Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, met with an accident and suffered severe multiple fractures in his right hand and leg too. On Wednesday, the Chhichhore star aka Acid, shared a long note on his social media handles in both Telugu and English to update his fans about his recent injury. Sharing a photo with an arm sling, the actor said, “The recovery has been slow and very tough.”
Taking to his official X handle, in a long note the actor wrote, “It has been a tough and painful time for me.” Another excerpt of the note read, “I am working closely with medical professionals towards complete recovery so I can perform my energetic best for you all.” The actor mentioned that the recovery process might take a few more months, however, he is determined to come back stronger and healthier than ever before.
He also warned his fans against fake news and requested to “trust updates” only from him. To cheer his fans, Naveen also revealed that exciting films are in development, which he will announce soon. “Can’t wait to entertain you on the big screen soon. Hope you are all doing well. Love you always. Your JaaneJigar”, Naveen concluded his post.

His post caught the attention of many of his fans who bombarded the comment section with “Get well soon” and “take care” messages.
Naveen marked his debut in films in 2019 with the Telugu flick Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. He then made his Hindi debut and starred in the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Chhichhore (2019). He played the role of Himanshu aka Acid–one of the many friends of SSR in the film. The film, upon its release, received widespread critical and commercial acclaim and even bagged the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 67th National Film Awards announced in 2021. Naveen is yet to announce his new projects.
