Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain were one of the most talked about couples from the Bigg Boss 17 season. Neither of them won the show and their relationship went through many ups and downs during their stay in the Bigg Boss 17 house. Addressing one such incident from the show, where Vicky almost raised his hand to slap Ankita during an argument, he said that he is someone who has always been in-charge of his emotions. Vicky received a lot of backlash from the audience after the episode. He shared, in a recent interview, that looking at the clip as a viewer, he can see why it was seen as harsh.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Vicky said, “When I look back at the clip today, it does come across as a harsh gesture. But seriously, I said, even that time, that after you are educated, after you have reached a somewhere in life, you become a very sorted person. These things are not in our system to react like that. I have had big fights with everyone there but I never been abused, I always followed the conduct. I have always been in-charge of my emotions, and I have proved it.”

He added, “It wasn’t a ‘one place I have gone wrong’ situation, it was nothing. The gesture meant nothing, and Ankita and I know that.”

The businessman, who married Ankita in 2021, shared that even though they went inside the Bigg Boss house as a couple, both of them played individually. He asserted that their relationship is strong enough to give each other the required space to act independently.

“We are so strong with our things (our bond), we know that whatever we said in the circumstances that we were in, we don’t even have to revisit and clarify to each other. Our relationship is so strong that we can allow each other to act in a certain way and let you be a total individual,” he said.

After the show was over, both Vicky and Ankita hosted a party for close friends and family members. Many of their peers attended the bash.
