Taarak Mehta’s Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar refutes reports of ugly fight between Dilip Joshi, Asit Modi: ‘What rubbish?’

As per the report when Dilip asked for a leave for a few days, Asit avoided the conversation, leaving the actor offended. Reportedly, the incident took place on Khush Shah’s last day of the shoot. An angry Dilip Joshi held Asit Kumar’s collar and even threatened to leave the show. Later Asit Modi tried to calm him. It is also stated in the article that Dilip and Asit often get into a heated arguments on sets.

When SCREEN contacted Amit Bhatt to verify this report, he denied it saying “No, yaar.” Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays Bhide also said, “What rubbish? Who spread these rumors? We all are shooting absolutely peacefully and happily.”

This is not the first time reports of problems between the producer and actors of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have surfaced. Last year, actresses Jennifer Mistry, Gurucharan Singh, Monica Bhadoriya, and Sailesh Lodha also made some serious allegations against the show’s producer and other unit members.

We tried reaching out to Dilip Joshi and Asit Modi for a comment, however, both remained unavailable for the same.
