Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 15: After a dream two-week run at the ticket window, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has officially entered its third Friday, and it has done so on a strong note. According to early estimates by trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 22.5 crore on its 15th day, taking its net domestic collection to an impressive Rs 483 crore. At this pace, the film is expected to comfortably enter the coveted Rs 500 crore club by the end of its 16th day. On the global front, Dhurandhar continues its stellar performance. As per early estimates, the film’s worldwide collection currently stands at Rs 710.5 crore.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of 35.95% on its 15th day. Morning shows began at 16.68%, which nearly doubled to 33.96% during afternoon shows. Occupancy continued to rise in the evening at 42.86% and peaked at a robust 50.28% during night shows. Delhi-NCR accounted for the highest number of screenings with 1,203 shows and recorded an occupancy of 36.25%, while Mumbai followed closely (927 shows) with a similar 36% occupancy across its shows.

Needless to say, Dhurandhar has emerged as the highest-grossing film of Ranveer Singh’s career, providing much-needed commercial momentum after a string of modest performers in recent years. The film is currently the second highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, trailing Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. However, given Dhurandhar’s sustained performance, especially overseas, it is well positioned to surpass Chhaava’s lifetime worldwide total of Rs 807.91 crore by the end of its run. The film has already broken several major box office records, including surpassing the worldwide collections of Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which earned Rs 691 crore globally, and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which finished its run at Rs 686 crore worldwide.

That said, Dhurandhar still trails behind Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster Animal, which collected Rs 553.87 crore domestically, and remains significantly behind last year’s highest-grossing Hindi film, the horror-comedy Stree 2, which earned Rs 597.99 crore in India. However, the film is expected to narrow the gap as it enjoys a relatively solo run, with no major Hindi releases until Kartik Aaryan’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, slated for a Christmas release.

The immediate competition, however, comes from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which released widely across India in formats such as IMAX 3D, 4DX, ICE and Dolby Cinema, and in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Hence, the film opened strongly, earning Rs 20 crore on its first day. It remains to be seen how Dhurandhar holds up over the coming weekend and into its third week.

The gangster saga, set in Pakistan and directed by Aditya Dhar, is planned as a two-part franchise, with the second installment scheduled for an Eid 2026 release. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the first part features a strong ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun.
