Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh missing since four days, father files complaint: Reports

According to the publication, the complaint was lodged by Gurucharan’s father, who said that the 50-year-old actor had left for the Delhi airport at 8:30 am on April 22 to go to Mumbai.

“He didn’t reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing,” the report read.

Several cast members Indianexpress.com reached out to hoped the actor would be found. “I have no idea. Not in touch with him since June 2023. Hope he is safe and sound,” said actor Jennifer Mistry, who played former Mrs Sodhi. Nehta Mehta, who played Anjali Mehta on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, said, “Only prayers 🙏 🙌” while Amit Bhatt, who plays Bapuji, sent his prayers for Gurucharan’s well-being.

“It’s really surprising for me as well. He keeps travelling between Delhi and Mumbai. Last we had met at a wedding in December, it was Dilip Joshi’s son’s wedding. We had a nice time together but since then, we have not been in touch. Just hoping and praying all is well,” Mandar Chandwadkar said.

Gurucharan Singh, who was last seen on the TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Roshan Singh Sodhi, had quit the series due to his father’s health. Further details are awaited.
