Shivangi Joshi calls Hina Khan ‘Mumma’, shares actor’s health update amid cancer treatment: ‘She will get well super soon’

Hina Khan sent shockwaves across the country as she broke the news of suffering from breast cancer almost a month ago. The actor, however, has decided to manifest only positivity as she battles the disease. Many of her friends and colleagues from the industry rallied behind her, rooting and encouraging her to fight her way through this. Recently, Hina Khan’s on-screen daughter Shivangi Joshi also shared an update on Hina’s health during a conversation with Pinkvilla.

As Shivangi appeared on the show Behind The Success, she spoke about how her journey in the industry has been. Revisiting her ups and downs, the moments she had been left disheartened, Shivangi also spoke about her co-stars. During the interview, when Shivangi was shown a photo of Hina, she happily screamed ‘Mumma’ and shared an update on Hina’s health. “I am still in touch with her, we were just talking yesterday. She is doing okay, she is very strong, she is a fighter and she will bounce back soon. I am praying for her, I was supposed to meet her but that couldn’t happen, I shall meet her soon. We are all praying for her and she will get well super soon.”

Shivangi also shared that the photo was from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai shoot. Shivangi played Hina’s daughter in the show. Some time back, the show’s director Rajan Shahni had mentioned how before Hina’s exit from the serial, there was some friction between the two actresses. He shared that Hina had issues shooting for some scenes that highlighted Shivangi. However, the actresses have never spoken ill of each other.

Hina who has been taking every day as it comes, she has been dropping hopeful posts on social media and regularly keeps updating fans about her health. Her last project was for Amazon Mini TV called Namacool, the actress has also shot for another project soon, but details about the same are unknown.
