Shiv Thakare confirms attending Abdu Rozik’s wedding, says he felt the announcement was a prank initially

Shiv Thakare told the publication that when he learned the news initially, he thought it was a prank. But later Abdu called him up and confirmed that he was indeed getting married. Shiv also shared that he is very happy for Abdu and that the Tajikistan singer has always been very excited to get married. The Bigg Boss 16 contestant even shared that he would dance like there is no tomorrow at Abdu’s wedding.

Shiv Thakare, Abdu Rozik and Sajid Khan became best friends on Bigg Boss 16. They had their own group called the Mandali and throughout the season they proved to be a strong support for each other. Even after the show, their friendship remains quite strong.

Reacting to the news of Abdu’s wedding, director Sajid Khan told ETimes that Abdu called him two days ago and informed him about the marriage. Sajid said that if he receives an invite and the visa process is sorted, he would definitely travel for the wedding.

Abdu Rozik recently got engaged to 19-year-old Sharjah resident Amira. Talking about his soon-to-wife, Abdu had earlier told Khaleej Times, “I cannot imagine anything more precious than this love. I cannot wait to start my new journey in life. Every day life is not easy for me, and finding love seemed an even harder challenge as there are so many obstacles. But Allhamdulillah, I’ve found Amira, and she loves me for who and what I am.”

Abdu is set to tie the knot in UAE on July 7.
