Sana Raees Khan says Sara Arfeen Khan’s violent behaviour on Bigg Boss 18 could lead to ‘immediate removal and potential criminal liabilities’

In an earlier episode of Bigg Boss Season 18, contestant Sara Arfeen Khan made headlines after a heated outburst during a task, where she lost her temper and threw a scepter at Karan Veer. The tension didn’t end there, as she later threw various items at other contestants, including Vivian Dsena, and even pushed Eisha Singh and other housemates. Her behaviour sparked widespread reactions, including from Supreme Court lawyer and Bigg Boss 17 contestant Sana Raees Khan, who remarked that Sara’s actions could “potentially lead to criminal and civil liabilities.”

Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Sana said, “Though I am not watching this season, however, the fact remains that contestants typically sign contracts agreeing to certain behavioural standards, often including clauses against physical violence. Breaching these terms could legally justify immediate removal from the show, as the showrunners have a duty to ensure a safe environment for all participants.”

She added, “Physical altercations can potentially lead to criminal and civil liabilities, even on reality TV. Although some level of conflict and drama is encouraged to boost ratings, violence crosses a line where it’s no longer entertainment but a matter of safety and legality.”

Bigg Boss Season 18 boasts a diverse lineup of contestants this season, including Shilpa Shirodkar, Chahat Pandey, Vivian Dsena, Chum Darang, Alice Kaushik, Nyrraa Banerji, Muskan Bamne, Shehzada Dhami, Tajinder Bagga, Gunaratna Sadavarte, Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Hema Sharma, Eisha Singh, and Shrutika. The show is hosted by Salman Khan, although currently, the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes are being hosted by Ekta Kapoor and Rohit Shetty as Salman is occupied with shooting his upcoming film Sikandar.
