Rajeev Sen says ex-wife Charu Asopa’s ‘well being is important’ for him: ‘Hope someday she and I can get back together’

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen married in 2019 and got divorced recently. Now, Rajeev hopes he can get back together with his ex-wife.

Television actor Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen ended their marriage of almost four years on June 8. The former couple started having issues in their marriage soon after they tied the knot in 2019. At one point, they also indulged in calling out each other on their respective vlogs. However, after the divorce, Rajeev, who is the brother of actor Sushmita Sen, wishes to get back together with Charu.

Recently, Rajeev spoke about his divorce from Charu and how he plans to spend more time with their daughter Ziana. He said he has immense love for his daughter and he will ‘remain cordial’ and will ‘support’ Charu in the upbringing of their daughter. “My love and unconditional support will always be there for Ziana,” he told Etimes. he also said that he hopes someday “Charu and I can get back together again.”

Earlier, Charu had expressed how she felt anxious while she was going to court for her divorce proceedings. In her vlog, she said, “Thodi anxiety hai (I am a little anxious). I know I am doing the right thing but I think everyone must be feeling the same anxiety.” After her divorce, she left a message for Rajeev that read, “And the divorce through…Rajeev will always be Ziana’s father. He can meet Ziana whenever he wants to.”

Charu and Rajeev married in 2019 and welcomed Ziana in 2021. However, things went sour between the two and there was a time when Charu accused Rajeev of adultery. Rajeev had blamed her for allegedly hiding her first marriage from him. They tried to give their marriage another chance last year, but things didn’t work out and they ended up going their separate ways.
