Liam McIntyre joins ‘The Flash’ as classic DC villain

McIntyre, 32, will make his first appearance as weather manipulator Mark Mardon in a two-episode storyline this season.

Former ‘Spartacus’ star Liam McIntyre will play classic DC Comics villain Weather Wizard in ‘The Flash’.

McIntyre, 32, will make his first appearance as weather manipulator Mark Mardon in a two-episode storyline this season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mark is seeking revenge against Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) for The Flash defeating his younger brother Clyde Mardon in the pilot.

McIntyre notably had the title role in the final two seasons of ‘Spartacus’, in addition to starring in the Australian soap opera ‘Neighbours’.

The Weather Wizard’s long history as one of DC Comics’s most popular villains dates back to 1959.
