In a recent interview, Amit Tandon opened up about being unfaithful with his wife Ruby, several times.

Actor Amit Tandon, known for his roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Dill Mill Gaye, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and several other shows, has been absent from the industry since 2018. While Amit has been away from the limelight, he grabbed attention recently after he made a startling confession during an interview with Siddharth Kannan. In the conversation, Amit Tandon opened up about cheating on his wife Ruby multiple times, and how it created a crack in their relationship.

As Amit discussed his personal highs and lows, the actor was asked if he was ever unfaithful. He said, “Yes, I did. Now what do I say? Yes, I have had moments where… I am thinking of how to put it respectfully, but there is no respectful way to say this. I let my impulses get the better of me. In those moments, I let parts of my past carry forward. Obviously, kuch waqt toh usko kuch pata bhi nahin tha (for some time she had no idea). But eventually, when she got to know, it destroyed her.”

“It creates a crack in your relationship, and sometimes it can’t be repaired. It just keeps on growing. Fast forwarding, we had a child thinking that bacha hone se sab theek ho jayega (a kid can fix everything). It doesn’t,” Amit added. Amit tied the knot with Ruby in 2007, and the two separated in 2017, and later reconciled in 2019. In 2018, Amit Tandon’s wife Ruby was also in the news after she was remanded in a Dubai jail for threatening some government officials. The two reconciled again in 2019. However, during that phase, Amit Tandon had slammed his Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co-star Mouni Roy and said that it was because of her that his wife Ruby got in trouble.

Amit Tandon made his acting debut in 2005, with Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, and later rose to fame with his characters in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Saath Niabhana Saathiya, etc. He was last seen on the TV show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki in 2018.
