KBC 17: Vadodara-based contestant calls Amitabh Bachchan ‘Jayaphilic’, Big B says, ‘Patniji aaj bohot khush honewali hai’

Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 started its new week on a fun note. On Monday, Vadodara-based Dhara Sharma joined Big B on the hot seat. During the episode, Dhara shared how she had always been inclined towards academics and spoke about how her parents encouraged her to pursue her education. She even went on to educate Amitabh on certain terminologies. In a lighthearted moment, Dhara quipped that since Amitabh loves his wife Jaya Bachchan so much, he can be called a “Jayaphilic”.

During the latest KBC episode, Dhara shared that she is an ambivert and said, “I am an ambivert since childhood, so my parents have been encouraging. They always said, ‘Do what you like,’ and they know I will do something in life.” Amitabh, who wasn’t familiar with the term ‘ambivert’ asked her to elaborate. Dhara explained that extroverts are people who often dominate conversations and don’t let others speak on the show, while introverts are those with whom he has to make an effort to communicate. She further added that ambiverts are individuals who prefer staying quiet, focus on their work, and ultimately achieve success in life. After giving her a puzzled look, Big B said, “I learned about this for the first time. I am taking some time, because I am thinking about who I am.”

Later in the game, Dhara answered the Rs 15000 question. Since the question was related to birdwatching, Dhara shared that it’s a hobby. She later went on to educate Amitabh Bachchan on how bird-watchers are called Avphilics. Dhara added, “There is one thing that is associated with you in the whole world, you are Jayaphilic. Everyone would like ma’am, but who would love her as much as you do?” Big B replied, “Thank you so much, Patniji bohot khush ho jaaegi aaj karyakram dekh kar. (My wife will be very happy today seeing this programme).”
