KBC 17: Indore-based contestant, who predicted Amitabh Bachchan’s future, quits the game at Rs 12.5 lakhs question, can you answer it?

On the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, Indore based contestant Aditya Joshi missed answering the 12 question which was about world economy. He quit the game and took home Rs 7.5 lakhs.

Indore-based contestant Aditya Joshi appeared on the hot seat on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 on Tuesday night. While the promos from his episode were quite loved, Aditya seemed to have fascinated host Amitabh Bachchan with his personality. From predicting a bright future for Big B to revealing how he copies the star’s dressing style, Aditya had some great conversations with Mr Bachchan. However, he couldn’t win big on KBC 17 and had to return home with just Rs 7.5 lakhs after he quit the game at the 12th question, which was worth Rs 12.5 lakhs.

Aditya managed to successfully answer the first 11 general knowledge-based questions. However, at the 12th one, he wasn’t very sure, and so he decided to quit the game and take some prize money home. The question that Aditya couldn’t answer was, “In 2025, the Council of the European Union approved which country to become the 21st member to adopt the ‘Euro’ as its currency? The options were “A. Romania B. Georgia C. Serbia and D. Bulgaria.”

The correct answer for this was Bulgaria. While on the hot seat, Aditya’s conversations with Bachchan surely seemed to charm the host. When the contestant revealed that his dressing style is inspired by Amitabh Bachchan, the KBC 17 host said, “Manyavar, ek baat bataye, yeh joh kapda aapne pehna hai na, bohot his sunder lag raha hai…(Gentleman, tell me one thing, this outfit you are wearing looks great…).” When Aditya showed Big B photos of their similar clothes, Amitabh Bachcha also jokingly added, “Gentleman, you are right. But how are these suits made? Because I don’t get my suits made, yeh sab sarkaari hai. The makers make it and give it, I wear it.”

The contestant also revealed on the show that he has been pursuing two degrees for graduation simultaneously and has also done certificate courses in astrology. When Bachchan asked him to predict his future, the contestant said it was bright. Later, when Big B quizzed the contestant, Aditya Joshi revealed that Amitabh Bachchan’s birth chart is easily available to read on the internet.

So far, only one contestant from Uttarakhand has managed to win Rs 1 crore on KBC 17. Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 airs on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
