"It was such an unbelievable experience. The moments I spent on the show will be the most special ones in my life," said Neela Buddhadev, who won Rs 50 lakh on Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 in Friday's episode. The home tutor from Raipur further shared that meeting Amitabh Bachchan was the highlight of the entire experience. In an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com, the 58-year-old further revealed about how she prepped up for the game show. "I have always be inclined towards general knowledge. Also, since I am a teacher, I had to keep myself updated. Also, I am an ardent newspaper reader and also enjoy watching news. So it wasn't like I had to do anything special." Neela further shared with us that she has been trying to be on KBC for the last 18 years. "When I first watched the show it was on a black-white television. And I was amazed seeing Amitabh Bachchan asking questions to contestants. I also realised that it was a good option to win a lot of money by just answering some questions. While I got a call each time, it was only this year that I managed to get through the audition." On the show, Neela had also spoken about her son, who overcame a major eye defect. Stating that he has been an inspiration for her, she said, "When I started auditioning my requirements were different. I wanted to win the money for his medication. Now he is fine and independent and I couldn't have asked for more. His determination and will power gave me the confidence." Sharing that her students have been really excited about her participation, the proud teacher said, "My students from the past so many years called me and congratulated me. Some, who have moved out to foreign counties were also excited about it. I am feeling blessed receiving all the love." Lastly, talking about meeting Amitabh Bachchan, Neela said, "It feels like a dream. Even though he is a superstar, he is so humble. The show could have been a boring one with only questions and answers but he makes it really interesting. It is also his charm that makes the contestants feel at ease."
