Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently dropped by actor Karan Tacker’s home, accompanied by her longtime cook and popular vlog partner, Dilip. The fun began even before they entered the building — when the female security guard recognised Dilip instead of Farah.

With her trademark sarcasm, Farah remarked, “She just said hi to you and not me!” To which Dilip cheekily replied, “Lately, I have developed a huge fan following among girls.” When he added, “They are groupies,” a shocked Farah asked, “Do you even know what that means?” A grinning Dilip said, “Matlab maalum nahi?”

Once inside, Farah Khan asked whose house it was, and Karan Tacker proudly said, “Parivaar!” Farah teased, “That means it belongs to your parents! So tell me — how do you bring girls home then?” Without missing a beat, Karan replied, “We have a great understanding at home.”

Dilip, amused, jumped in saying, “I also want to be part of this conversation!” Farah quickly teased him, “Why? You’re married with three children!” To which Karan laughed, “Yes please, you’ll learn how to bring girls home behind Farah’s back.”

Explaining his living arrangement, Karan Tacker shared, “When we were designing this house, we decided we will all live together. Since I am not married, we made two living rooms — one for my parents and one for me. Whenever I bring someone home, I just text on our family group saying, ‘I have a friend home.’ It’s our code word for them to stick to their side of the house!” He added, “My parents are really cool, very conducive to the environment.”

Farah Khan immediately turned to Dilip and warned, “Don’t take this bakwas advice! Who are you planning to call home anyway?”

As the laughter continued, Karan introduced his parents to Farah. She revealed, “It’s actually because of Kucku ji (Karan’s father) that we’re shooting this vlog today. He’s the one who told me Karan cooks well and watches all our vlogs.”

Karan’s father, Kucku, surprised everyone when he revealed that he was once an actor himself. “As a child, I played Birbal on Doordarshan and got paid Rs 100 per episode,” he shared.

Karan was quick to clarify with a laugh, “People, I am not a nepo kid!” He then recalled how his parents reacted when he first said he wanted to act. “My father threw a katori (bowl) at me! He said, ‘Nautanki karega? You’re a businessman’s son!’”

The fun didn’t stop there. Karan Tacker revealed he lives not only with his parents but also with his married sister and brother-in-law, who recently welcomed their first child. “We’re all helping her with the baby,” he said.

Farah Khan couldn’t resist comparing them to a Sooraj Barjatya film family. “You guys are straight out of a Hum Saath-Saath Hain movie!” she laughed, naming Karan “Prem,” his father “Alok Nath,” his mother “Reema Lagoo,” and his brother-in-law “Mohnish Bahl.”

As the vlog wrapped up, Dilip accidentally drank a mix of jaljeera and cocktail, pretending to be tipsy — giving the video a perfectly chaotic and hilarious ending. He said: “Ma’am mujhe nasha hogaya hai!”
