Dimpy, Rahul Mahajan ‘on different roads’; but not lost

One would think that there'll be some bad blood between the exes. But there was none.

The ease and comfort with which Dimpy and Rahul met was heartrending. The ease and comfort with which Dimpy and Rahul met was heartrending.

Two of the inmates of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house – Gautam Gulati and Dimpy Ganguly – seem to be getting along really well. As luck would have it, Gautam also happens to be a friend of Dimpy’s ex-husband Rahul Mahajan. So, when the housemates were asked to invite some of their celebrity friends for a first ever Bigg Boss house party, Gautam invited his friend and ‘Bigg Boss 2’ contestant Rahul.

One would think that there’ll be some bad blood between the exes. But there was none. Infact, the ease and comfort with which Dimpy and Rahul met was heartrending.

Though initially Dimpy seemed slightly perturbed with Rahul’s presence in the house, she later joked and asked him, “Sharma rahe ho kya mujhse baat karne mein?” To this, Rahul replied, “Haan! Sharam se laal ho gaya hoon.”

Rahul Mahajan, on the other hand, seemed to be the only guest who enjoyed the party the most. Shedding all inhibitions, Rahul even took a dip in the pool and also went on the wrong side of Sambhavna Seth.

Later when the guests were asked to leave the house, Dimpy was seen shedding tears while bidding goodbye to her ex-husband Rahul. “I am so glad to see you,” were her words.

Also, both the people in question after the party took to Twitter to express what they felt after the party.

This tweet, we guess, might have come from the official team, handling Dimpy’s account in her absence.

Dimpy was playing waitress in the televised party. We, though, are still not sure whether Dimpy already knew of Rahul’s consequential presence at the house, or she was taken by surprise. Having said that, we did like the certain play of emotions in an otherwise low-on-emotions show.

Rahul married Dimpy on the reality show ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ in 2010. Later, Dimpy accused Rahul of being violent. The estranged couple, reportedly, filed for divorce this year in May, though they insist that they are on ‘cordial’ terms.

The party also saw guests like RJ Mallishka, RJ Mantra, Raza Murad, Vindu Dara Singh, Arjun Firoz Khan, Pankaj Dheer and Nikitin Dheer.
