Dhinchak Pooja’s name has been among the Bigg Boss 11 contestant’s list for a long time.

The stage of Bigg Boss 11 will soon welcome YouTube sensation Dhinchak Pooja as a wild card contestant. The Delhi born Pooja Jain became a sensation with her creative songs like Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj and Meri Swag Wali Topi. Though many cringe on her music, the numbers on her videos definitely tell a different tale. Interestingly, Dhinchak Pooja’s name has been among the Bigg Boss list for a long time. Refuting the buzz that she was approached a long time back, Pooja, in an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com, stated, “The team called me only few days back and we recently had a meeting. Since my days were free, I decided to go for it. Earlier whatever you’ve heard has been only a rumour.

There’s always an advantage for wild cards as they can study their fellow contestant and strategize accordingly. When asked about her plans, the youth icon said, “I have been busy shopping and packing and didn’t really get a chance to see too many episodes. I haven’t really planned anything as I want to give an equal opportunity to everyone I interact with. Also, from what I have seen, everyone is nice with different personalities and I wouldn’t like to judge them before meeting.”

On prodding what she has been packing, Pooja with a shy smile replied, “Although you will get to see my usual swag style with caps and jackets, I am also packing other kinds of dresses also. I want to bring out a different avatar in the show.”

Since the season already has a rapper, Akash Dadlani in the house, we asked whether we will see them jamming together. “Yes, I know about him but I need to meet him to decide whether we will be compatible to create music. But I am sure it’s going to be a fun time,” she said.

Excitement reverberating in her voice, Pooja further said, “Bigg Boss is a big platform for me and I am really looking forward to have a fun time. All these while, I have found a lot of fame but never got a chance to interact with my fans or even show them who the real Pooja is. This is the biggest reality show on television and definitely a big opportunity for me.”

While Pooja confessed that she will entertain the housemates with her songs, she hasn’t yet had time to prepare an act for them. “I am really looking forward to meet Salman Khan and though I haven’t yet prepared a song for me, I would love to perform in front of him.”
